Between new administrations and still ever changing COVID regulations, much has changed to the Missouri and Federal legal landscape for employment law. Join this session to get the up-to-date state of employment law.


Kaitlin (Kate) Gallen

Kaitlin (Kate) Gallen advises clients with regard to a wide variety of workplace issues, including employee leaves of absence, disability accommodations, religious accommodations, and conducting workplace investigations. Kate strives to ensure employers meet their business goals, including compliance with the law, avoidance of litigation, and appropriately positioning themselves to defend litigation when necessary.

Kate also strategically and creatively defends employers in all types and at all stages of litigation, including in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She is particularly proud of her team’s success defending wage and hour class and collective actions, including defeating nationwide 216(b) conditional certification and Rule 23 class action certification.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Kate was a law clerk for the Honorable Mary Russell of the Supreme Court of Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri Law School, where she was the Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review.
